Friday October 28th at 6.30 for 7pm in the Music Room at Exeter Central Library. A talk with Judith Richardson-Dawes on behalf of Exeter Civic Society. She will discuss 'Who is the Green Man? A symbol of rebirth and immortality?' Tea and coffee will be available before the talk and during the interval. After the interval Mrs Richardson-Dawes will introduce a quiz asking you to 'Become a Green Man Detective'. You will have to identify a sequence of illustrations of Green Men in Exeter over the following week. There will be prizes for the best entries. Thursday 24th November - Annual General Meeting of Exeter Civic Society at the Devon & Exeter Institution in Cathedral Close, followed by a Buffet supper . Application form for supper tickets will be sent with Autumn newsletter.
Saturday 17th December at 10.30 - Noon. Christmas Open meeting at the Central Library in Exeter.
