Programme of Events for 2011 – dates for your diary: 

Saturday 15th October at 10.30 - Noon. Open meeting at the Central Library in Exeter.

Friday October 28th at 6.30 for 7pm in the Music Room at Exeter Central Library. A talk with Judith Richardson-Dawes on behalf of Exeter Civic Society. She will discuss 'Who is the Green Man? A symbol of rebirth and immortality?' Tea and coffee will be available before the talk and during the interval. After the interval Mrs Richardson-Dawes will introduce a quiz asking you to 'Become a Green Man Detective'. You will have to identify a sequence of illustrations of Green Men in Exeter over the following week. There will be prizes for the best entries. Saturday 19th November at 10.30 - Noon. Open meeting at the Central Library in Exeter.

Thursday 24th November - Annual General Meeting of Exeter Civic Society at the Devon & Exeter Institution in Cathedral Close, followed by a Buffet supper . Application form for supper tickets will be sent with Autumn newsletter.

Saturday 17th December at 10.30 - Noon. Christmas Open meeting at the Central Library in Exeter.

Remember you are welcome to bring visitors to our meetings so if you know of people who might be interested in any particular meeting do invite them along. There is no charge to visitors who come to talks.
