EXETER CIVIC SOCIETY 
Some 30 members of the public enjoyed a guided walk around the Iron Bridge /St Davids area arranged by the Society as part of the ' HeritageOpen Days' in September. It was so successful that we would like to undertake this again or similar walks as part of this annual event.
On 10th November, Civic Society members were privileged to be shown round the medieval church of St Mary Steps by its Church Warden, Dr Tegwyn Harris. The church was largely completed by the end of the 15th century. The tower contains the famous 'Matthew the Miller' clock to which the Society contributes for maintenance.
