  • Visit to Exeter Energy Facility

    Exeter Energy Recovery Facility, Grace Rd S, Exeter EX2 8QE

    This will be a very interesting visit to the newly opened Energy Facility but spaces are limited to 20 so early booking using the usual channels is recommended.

    We have the following instructions to comply with: Sturdy shoes must be worn (no flip-flops or sandals) and suitable clothing (no dresses or skirts).

    When booking please inform of any mobility or health issues (e.g. a pacemaker or respiratory) which they will need to know about prior to the visit.

    There is limited parking on site, so car share where possible.

    Anyone intending to go on this visit must reserve a place by Jan 20.

    This tour is led by leading Historians Julia Neville and Mike Richards and charts the development from Museum to University College and the adjacent area from 1860s to 1920s.

    As this tour will involve walking around the Museum, group size will be very small only 10 so booking essential, see contact details.

    Meet at the rear entrance as the lift at the front is not working. No parking but City Centre so should be accessible by Public Transport.
